Welcome to the club! Wakanda Forever! |
26 April 2018
I didn’t focus on my job. I couldn’t wait for my holiday tomorrow. For
next 3 days, I would enjoy my trip on Bandung. With Hana (my travelmate) and her friends from Malaysia. I need to refresh my soul and my mind.
I went to Bekasi from Cicurug, Sukabumi right after office hour off (around
5 pm). Arrived at Bekasi Station around 10 pm. I rode my motorcycle to Bogor,
then continued with commuter line to Bekasi. Arrived at Bekasi, Hana had picked
me up and we went to Bandung at that moment by car. Alhamdulillah, we arrived
at Jatinangor around 2 am.
27 April 2018
I want to introduce my traveling team this time. Hana, she is my travel
mate also my colleague. Wan, is Malaysian and Hana’s friend in college. Hilmi,
is Malaysian and Wan’s college friend. Riri, is college friend of Hana’s brother. So random
are we? Hahaha.
We met at Bandung Station (Wan and Hilmi used train from Jakarta). Our
first destination is Mount of Tangkuban Perahu. This mount has interesting
legend about Dayang Sumbing and Sangkuriang. You can search the story at Google
cause I won’t tell you that legend in this blog. Hehe. Too long. Because we
went there in weekday, we just paid Rp 20.000/prs and Rp 30.000 for one car.
After taking enough photos, we had to fill our energy. We need brunch. Hahaha.
Cause we were too late to take breakfast, but to0 early for lunch. We had brunch
at RM Ade. It is a Sundanese restaurant. For me, this restaurant has affordable
price. For 5 people, we just spent our money Rp 115.000.
Next destination was De’ Ranch. It is like miniature of farm (you know
it when you hear the name, ranch). You need to pay Rp 15.000/prs and you can
enjoy this place while drinking the fresh milk.

@De Ranch |
Not far from De’ Ranch, we continued to Farm House. Actually, Farm house
and De’ Ranch have same concept. Compare to De’ Ranch, Farm house has more
attraction to take photos. The entry fee is Rp 25.000/prs. You also get free a
cup of fresh milk here.
We finally went to our main destination. LODGE MARIBAYAAA. We stayed
there for one night. I could refresh my mind by seeing the beauty of pine trees
scenery. I like the air most, so fresh. I thought it will be many visitors, but
we were the only visitors that night. So private, hahaha.
Actually, it has
campfire for us, but we decided to visit Bukit Bintang. But, it got the wrong way. So, we took far way to get that place. Unfortunately, Bukit Bintang has
closed, because we arrived too late (maybe around 11 pm). So we just stopped at
Bukit Moko. Oh ya, we celebrated Wan’s birthday. Wkwkwk, what a unique
celebrate. A bowl of Indomie as a cake, and our voice as the backsound. Happy
birthday Waaan.

28 April 2018
We woke up so late (Pray Subuh at 6 am, Astaghfirullah). We went to camp
so lately, so we were so tired. After washing the face and brushing the teeth
(without take a bath), we had breakfast. Then, we started our activities.
The first activity was taking photo at photo spot available in here. Wan,
Hilmi, and Hana took many photos in different spot. What about me? Actually, I didn’t
interested in taking photo alone. So, me and Riri just be the photographer. hehehe.
The second activity, is tracking the pine forest. I like it most!
Tracking 😅😅 |
My first time tried this game |
In Lodge Maribaya, we just paid around Rp 2 million for 2 tents, 5
people, one night. Include the complete room in modern tent, dinner, breakfast,
priority for taking photos in the famous
photos spot, tracking at pine forest, and archery activities. Exclude the entry
fee at photo spot (around Rp 20.000-Rp 25.000 per spot and Rp 10.000/pcs of
softcopy the picture). I like it very much!
After checked out, we had late lunch at Alas Daun Restaurant (Sundanese
Cuisine). It was free because Wan and Hilmi treated us, wkwkwk. Thanks Wan and
Hilmi!
At Alas Daun. Treated by Wan and Hilmi. Thanks for the luuunnch! 😋 |
Our belly were full and we continued our trip to Eiger Shop at Riau
Street. Eiger is one of famous outdoor store. Wan and Hilmi like shopping very
much I think. Hahaha.
After shopping, what was the next agenda? Watched Avengers Infinity War!
Me and Hana didn’t watch it yet, while Hilmi, Wan, and Riri had it. So, we
(without Riri) watched that movie at Jatinangor Town Square (Jatos). I had a
drama before watched the movie. Because of Saturday night, the Parking Area was
full. We got the place, but the parking fee was too expensive, Rp 15.000. The
parking man take the opportunity from us. So, we decided to bought the ticket
first before parked our car. Me and Riri bought the ticket. Unfortunately, I
couldn’t use my debit card, because in that cinema just can use BCA debit,
while I use BNI and Mandiri Debit. So, I decided to take the cash at ATM.
Unfortunately, I fell when went down at the stairs. I had sprained ankle
(until now, when I’m writing this story. It has been 4 days and I still can’t
walk). Ya Allah, I’m too often to get sprained. Hiks hiks.
29 April 2018
My ankle got worse. It was hard for me to walk. It was swelling, pain,
and limited range of motion. I didn’t join Hana et al visit Kawah Putih. I went
back to Bogor and said goodbye to Wan and Hilmi. Overall, I like this trip!
Although I have to suffer sprained ankle because of my careless. Thanks to
Wan and Hilmi, I got new knowledge especially about Malaysia. We come from
different country and culture, but it makes our trip more memorable and
interesting! Oh ya, thanks a lot for the souvenir! Hahahaha.
This trip remembers me about one of Ayah in Quran. It tells us the diversity in this world. We were created into nations and tribes to know each other, see the beauty of diversity.
"O men! Behold, We have created you all out of a male and a female, and have made you into nations and tribes, so that you might come to know one another. Verily, the noblest of you in the sight of God is the one who is most deeply conscious of Him. Behold, God is all-knowing, all-aware."
(QS Al-Hujurat 49:13)
