This is the next article of Nostalgia at Yogyakarta Part 1. The first place I visited today was Erista Garden. Mr. Erista was my supervisor. He lived in Jogja with his family. Erista Garden is located at Jl Kaliurang Km 17,5 Demen, Pakembinangun, Pakem, Kabupaten Sleman, Yogyakarta. It was a good place to refresh our mind from the city hurly-burly. You also can see the Merapi Mount and the beautiful plants. It could refresh my eyes and my soul!
We (me and my colleagues) were served by traditional food. Like boiled cassava (singkong rebus), gethuk, etc. Among those foods, the new thing for me was Sego Megono. Actually, Sego Megono is traditional food from Pekalongan, Central Java. It contained of young jackfruit, coconut, etc. It tastes like urap. It was served with Mendoan (Fried Tempeh) and the roasted chicken. Haochi!

My belly was full. I walked around the garden. I saw many flowers and also purple chili. It was my first time saw it. It is "Chili Pepper Purple Tiger", and it can be used as to spice up the dishes. But, I can't and I didn't want to taste it because I can't eat spicy food. Oh ya, if you curious about Erista Garden, you can get more information at www.eristagarden.com.
